Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace
Our 2025 stewardship theme—“Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace”—focuses on the idea that stewardship is not just about giving, but about nurturing and growing our church’s mission, much like how a tree grows strong roots to bear fruit. It symbolizes the congregation’s collective commitment to be grounded in faith while expanding in love, service, and outreach to the community.
Rooted in Faith: Emphasizes the foundation of the church community in God’s Word and the importance of supporting the church to continue its mission of worship, spiritual growth, and teaching. Colossians 2:7 - “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on the One.”
Growing in Grace: Highlights the role of stewardship in enabling the church to grow its outreach, music ministry, mission work, and congregational vitality. As the church is blessed with resources, it is able to bless others through service and compassion. 2 Corinthians 9:8 - “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
Bearing Fruit: Focuses on the tangible impact of giving, showing how every gift contributes to the church’s music programs, mission work, community support, and ongoing worship. John 15:5 - “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in them, bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
As we enter this year’s “Rooted in Faith, Growing in Grace” stewardship campaign, we want to take a moment to personally thank you for your continued support of Lakeside Presbyterian Church.
